Antique silver engraved fusee pocket watch John Forrest, London 1913 Working. Signed Key wind fusee movement with lever escapement, numbered 63104 and marked, John Forrest, Chronometer Maker to the Admiralty, with the corresponding number on the silver case. The signed white enamel dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and gilt hands. Nice all over engraved silver case with gold inlaid garter to the back. There are no personal engravings anywhere on this watch. British Sterling silver hallmark for Chester 1913. This watch runs well and keeps good time. The hinges are in good condition and the back cover springs open when the stem button is pressed. The watch measures 56mm diameter, 20mm thick over the glass. It has its winding key. Our ref 1767
